    This was the first mandolin I built, and has undergone several rebuilds and repairs over the time I’ve had it.  I have really beat this thing up. 

    The image to the left is it’s current incarnation. It still plays exceptionally well (despite a repaired neck) and is one of my favorite traveling instruments. 

    Sawmill tuning sounds especially great on this mandolin.
